And so it began the first day of EDM in downtown Costa Rica, Feb. 7, at Calvary Chapel San Pedro.
God is good and His timing is perfect. Bible's were opened and pens ready, papers for notes & 17 new students sat with a hunger and excitement to studies God's word.It was like an adrenalin rush this evening, seeing the faithfulness of God's work.
Pastor Geiner & wife Denise are missionaries from Skip Heitzigs church, they have been in Costa Rica for 3yrs. church planting Calvary Chapel. Geiner expressed his desire to have the School of Discipleship & Ministry at his church. With God's guidance,Victor decided this was the year to start.
We also continue in the center of Costa Rica, with classes on Mon. & Wed. nights. Praise God for His work here and the honor and privilege to serve our Lord.
And the two shall become one...
A wedding not expected but planned by God. Walking with God is like an adventure you never know what a day might bring.
A couple weeks after getting back from our furlough we received a email asking if Victor could marry their nephew who was coming to Costa Rica to get married. The bride does not know Spanish nor her family coming with them so they were looking for a pastor who spoke English. So on Valentine's Day we were off to the beach to attend to a wedding.
Beautiful beach front view, palm trees swinging in the wind, and a sparkling beautiful bride, the groom with a grin from ear to ear. And all the guests ready with their I pads for pictures.
And of course the most handsome man marrying them! my guapo.
The bride's mom said that she was praying for the exact passage that Victor read out of the bible. What a great God we have to know the hearts and minds of all.
What a sight to see when two people stand before God and decide to honor Him and walk with Him making a choice to cleave to one another through it all and become one.
We cannot thank you enough for your prayers, support, and encouragement. For Coming alongside with us to serve God in Costa Rica. Thank you, Thank you. May Jesus get all glory as He uses little ol' us.
