                                    Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa Mission Trip                                                                                      

 

Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa’s High School’s graduating class came to Costa Rica for Missions. Seventy – seven teenager’s with willing hearts to be used by God.

The mission trip was to be a blessing to all the Calvary Chapel missionaries here and come along side and serve in any way. One of the highlights of the trip was at the end, they had Baptisms for the High School team and many gave their lives to Jesus & were baptized. God’s love broke many of the youth, and in His perfect plan brought them to Costa Rica to give them life eternal. Never imagined in our minds that for us the great and mighty work to see was going to see some of those youth get off the plane without Jesus reigning in their hearts and leave with a new life surrendered to Him. Time with the team is one that left sweet moments engraved in our hearts, and a passion for the youth; to reach out fervently to them.
 




Teaching at Calvary Chapel Jaco

 

April showers bring May flower’s does not apply for Costa Rica, May begins the rainy season, however God’s showers of His grace never ceases. He is always opening doors to serve Him. Oh, how good it is to know Him and that He would choose to use us. Victor was invited to teach at Calvary Chapel Jaco.  While Pastor  Mike and his family went back home for a furlough. This church plant is right in the hearts of one of the most tourist beach towns in Costa Rica. It’s  high drug rates, and prostitution, drunkenness, is the perfect place for Jesus love to shine

  
      



                          

School Of Discipleship and Ministry: 

The students from the classes that are in downtown are flourishing in their relationships with Jesus. Pastor Geiner tells us that they are all excited and he can see God working in their lives It is overwhelming of God’s goodness, that never fail us. Hear from a couple of them first hand.
I want to thank God for persons like you victor, a man filled with God’s presence who teach us to trust, with your teachings. Good day my brother, my you receive great blessings from the King of Kings and mighty creator our Lord Jesus. Here is what God is teaching me through the School of Discipleship and Ministry:
　If I were to gain the world and all its riches, yet lose my soul, then I am condemned. (Know how to live for the purpose of God & be used to bring glory to Him) That is "To Live".
Life without Christ has no reason or meaning, it is a life without purpose. We must live and
Walk according to God’s ways, be grateful and appreciate any provision that our Lord gives.
　Learn to enjoy every blessing that comes from God, humble ourselves before Him always ask for forgiveness, knowing that are actions in Christ Jesus are not in vain.
God is holy and calls us to be holy. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord
The best thing that my Lord Jesus has done in my life is free me from 20 years of bondage to alcoholism, has given me the humility and the sense of asking forgiveness to my family for wrong things I had done towards them. The best thing is that my wife & children are proud of me, and daily give thanks to God for this.
