Sown on good ground... Mark 4:20

What God is doing in the hearts of students:

Cristina Sevilla Quesada,29 yrs. of age- Student of Culinary school wants to become chef and use her catering service for the Lord.

" I want to thank God for the opportunity of each day he gives me to learn from his word. The School of Discipleship and ministry has been a tool in where I have been able to study and be strengthened in my faith, always with sound doctrine and good teaching. I consider that this school is an excellent opportunity for all those who desire to follow Jesus Christ and grow in his word. 1 Timothy 6:19 " storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold to eternal life." Doing this by the truth found in the word of God. My prayers and blessings for this ministry that God has put in their hearts and for CCEA"
Alejandro Romero, 26 yrs. of age- Serves in a Christan Theater Ministry, an outreach for the youth as writer and actor, he is studying to be an architect and would like to be able to help others build their homes. For work he draws plans for a building company so that he may pay his University.

" Hello! My life is one filled with joy, and Jesus Christ is my life! however in my past years my life was not this way. I grew up in a home without God and without a father, always seeking for a fatherly figure. During this time my mother fell in a depression, which led her to try and commit suicide 3 times. One of my friends reached out to me with hope, forgiveness, and a fatherly love I was looking for... Jesus Christ.

My walk with Jesus has been one of ups and downs and many battles, without the proper understanding and teaching of the word of God I walked many times in condemnation, and wanting to give up. But the God's holy spirit that dwells within me was constantly pursuing me to continue, and thankfully for the School of Discipleship and Ministry I am able to properly divide the word of God, understand his grace and my position in Christ!

I met Victor 13 yrs ago in J- Holy Theater where he acted and wrote scripts as well for the evangelical outreaches. Me being younger and looking for someone to look up to he was that person. His passion for God and talents he used for him, I so wanted! I have seen God work in his life in unexpected ways and use him mightily for his glory!! After being at Victor's wedding with his wife Nichol and now 9 yrs after God bringing them back to Costa Rica to disciple the people here, is just another testimony of the great things God does. And I am honored to be able to be a part of the School."
Luis Roberto Morales Sanchez, 30 yrs. of age- From Guatemala,he came around a year ago to Costa Rica for his job, in which he is an engineer manager of a company throughout Central America. He searched for Calvary Chapel's and God brought him to us. Worship leader at church, and Leader for the young adult ministry.

"I am convinced that God brought me to Costa Rica for many reasons. Being a part of the School of Discipleship and Ministry was definitely one of them! Deeply studying the Word of God has transformed my life from the inside out. Even though I'm barely starting in the program, the School has played an important role in challenging me to study the Bible more thoroughly and memorizing it. Sharing with other fellow-Christian's who share this same commitment also encourages me to pursue this objective. It is a blessing that, despite of my busy work schedule, having the School available at night allows me to be constant in this challenge every week." "But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop." Luke 8:15
Maria Isabel Lopez, 18 yrs. of age- Studying at the University and serves with Alejandro at the Ministry J-Holy Theater, an evangelical outreach.

" The veil from my eyes have been lifted" That is how I would explain how the holy spirit through the classes of School of Discipleship have been such a blessing for me! My walk with Christ was filled with many false teachings, and lies. I now see with clarity and see the truth in the word. A life with hope and a love that is unfailing regardless of my shortcomings. A love relationship with Jesus where his word is a part of my daily life and living."
