How sweet the Plans of God!!

Oh, the sweetness of the body of Christ. When we come together in prayer, encouragement, exhorting one another and serving our Jesus... all for His glory!

The last couple months have been really exciting to see what God is doing with the teachers who help teach. They graduated from the two yr. program in 2011 and we want to introduce them to you and let you marvel in how great God is!!
        BBQ Teacher's EDM

Jonathan & Marilu, their precious daughter Karen:
They have been on many short term mission trips to Cuba, and have a call to missions. About six years ago they began to pray for Cuba and desire to go their one day and serve in missions full time.
After graduating from EDM, Jonathan and Marilu expressed their hearts to us and asked for prayer. Jonathan then began helping teach at EDM, during this time God began to put in his heart, the desire to start  EDM in Cuba.
 Two months ago Jonathan said, " I want to go to Cuba and teach what I have learned at EDM."
Financially this was impossible for them to go and take a scouting trip and see what they would need to go and live their as missionaries. But, God is in the business of doing the impossible, He provided for them with the tickets. This is so exciting, if God would have them their and plant EDM in Cuba. Please pray for them they leave Oct. 26 and will be back Nov. 7th. They have persevered through many trials, and share the joy of Jesus where they go.

A young couple zealous for God and serving Him!! Will began helping Victor teach at the classes in Downtown Costa Rica this year. Every thursday we pick him up from his job which he works at a call center for Brazil and straight to classes. We thank God for Will's perseverance and faithfulness, to serve God. He has a gift to teach and has blessed our lives with His service to Christ.
                                                         
                                             
Eduardo & Ileana (wife not in pict.), their precious children Joel & Sharon:
Leaders at their church Vida Abundante, this family is a pure reflection of the love of Jesus! They have home bible studies and are involved in marriage couple ministries. Joel their son is a youth leader and daughter Sharon helps with children ministries.
Eduardo began teaching a yr. ago at EDM. This year he has not been able to help teach do to the time conflicts at his home church weekly services, where he serves at. His prayer and desire is to plant EDM at his home church Vida Abundante. Right now they are in the process of building a church so in a matter of time this would be a location for EDM. Where many others can grow in knowing God more.

                                               
Pastor Jose, Maritza and their precious children Katherine & Valentina:

We stand in awe of our God!! I ( Nichol) first met Pastor Jose when in 2001. I went on a short term mission trip to Costa Rica with Calvary Chapel Golden Springs. On that trip  Pastor Jose was one of the leaders of the team. During that mission, God was putting on  Pastor Jose's heart to plant a Calvary Chapel in Costa Rica. Victor met Pastor Jose then, and I met Victor. And our great God brought us all back together again to serve our Lord.
Pastor Jose has been the right hand man of God for Victor! arriving in Costa Rica he and Maritza faithfully opened their home for us for constant encouragement and prayers for EDM. He has opened   the doors of the church for the discipleship classes. Maritza, sings in the worship team, leads woman's ministries and teaches in the children's ministry. Katherine as well serves in both ministries, worship and children's & this year in Dec. will graduate from EDM, the youngest daughter Valentina is involved in the drama outreaches. They  have been an example for us of God's love, faith, service and obedience to Christ.

Each one of these families are a huge blessing for us and reminders of God's faithfulness and the plans that he has for us are amazing! We are so blessed to serve with them and ask for your prayers for them.
