STUDENTS TALK!!

I attend, Abundant life Church in San Rafael de Heredia, my pastor is Rudy Corea.

In this church in one of the services, I heard of the existence of free theological courses, taught at the school of Discipleship and Ministry, which generated in me an interest. I have always had the desire to study systematically the word of God, which is why I decided to attend these classes.

I am currently participating in the courses: "Biblical counseling" and the "doctrine of sin and salvation" that my brothers Jose and Victor; who show a deep Biblical knowledge, and an extroardinary attitude as teachers.

I thank the Lord for the privilege of participating in these free courses which have allowed me to:further study, and have discernment of God's Word, grow as a believer and obtain the skills needed to teach and present the word of God to others, so they are not lost and proceed to repentance.

It is worth recognizing the importance of this theological Ministry and how it impacts the lives of believers interested in studying the Bible;It is my prayer that God bless all the people who make it possible with their offerings, and contributions that this school of discipleship and Ministry may continue to work in our country greatly.

Hello my name is, Julio Vargas Fernandez

I want to give a warm greeting, and blessing that the Lord Jesus Christ continue working in the lives of you and your loved ones wherever you may be. At the same time I want to let you know the blessing that God is giving my life, through the school of discipleship.

Through this Ministry God is working with my character, showing me the things that must change and those areas in my life in which I must start practicing to look more and more like Jesus, with the sole purpose to be an instrument that the Lord uses to carry the Gospel to more people and be a blessing to others like Victor & Nichol are for us here in Capilla Calvario Sela( Calvary Chapel Selah).

 Jose and Victor are two people that God has given them a gift of knowledge & teaching, I thank God for putting them as my teachers. I have in my heart a desire to learn and develop more spiritually for the glory and honor of God.

Thank you for your attention, I say goodbye but not before letting them know much I appreciate them and hoping that God protects them and fills them with many blessings.

 would like to thank God for putting the call in the hearts of Victor and Nichol, for the great work they have done over these last years.

They are a huge blessing for my life and the life of the other students. I also give thanks for Jose, his dedication to help in the school and his excellent teaching.

The School of Discipleship & Ministry, it has been a grand blessing for my life! The doors have been opened for me to know more about my God, in a practical day to day living. Also, the teachers have stirred in me an appetite to want to study more the bible and learn about my God!

I will tell you a bit of what I have learned to be in EDM:

Five years ago, I returned to the path of Christianity as my way of life. At this time I

learned new things, lived great experiences with Jesus Christ and grew in him.

Although, I was a leader in my church, I was never equipped with good training in the word of God, which is the basis of every Christian. For this reason, I had many problems and consequences that cost me much suffering and pain, having to learn from my own experiences.

At that time I met Victor, in a discipleship class on the life of Jesus, which is based on studying the life of Jesus how he conducted with his disciples, and how it is that he wants us to be as disciples and leaders. God blessed me with a group of men from whom I learned a lot. Among them Victor, which speaking one day came up the topic of EDM ( School of Discipleship & Ministry).

Almost four months ago, I began the School. For me, it has been something very interesting to learn more about the Bible. To see that when rightly interpreted the word of God , it speaks for itself and changes the life of anyone.

When young people approach me with needs, I am reminded that it is not my opinion, but what the Bible says, and so I have seen several people grow in God. Also, I have begun to give me the task of reading more the Bible, & studying it more, see the context in which the author is talking about, and see what God wants to teach me.EDM has taught me to be more analytical of the word, but not to criticize, but to be able to learn more about God and help others.

 And the best of it all is, that thanks to EDM, and what I have learned is giving fruit in my church, leaders, pastors, and in me. Little by little, I am returning to serve and serve as a leader is to serve. And it has only been my first semester in EDM.
